About Peter Pan - Forest Kids
The term "forest kindergarten" refers to those kindergartens that educate and nurture children on a daily basis in nature, often in the forest, regardless of weather conditions. This practice is based on the understanding that children can move and play better in nature than within four walls, and that they are capable of acquiring a certain awareness of nature from a young age. Their need for movement is given space, their curiosity and desire for knowledge can be expressed and experienced, while they develop physically and mentally, and expand their knowledge. In the meantime, they learn the respect for nature and the secrets of living with nature. The condition for this is that education takes place outside the building.
